Artist Bio
Chose carton is an experimental paper-making project initiated by Louis-Félix D'Amours, a multimedia artist living and working in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal. Using reclaimed paper scraps, the artist is interested in creating 2-D and 3-D objects inspired by pop culture and art history. The main impetus for this project is characterized by a will to disengage with excessively intellectual modes of artistic production and return to a simpler, hands-on creative process.
