Pandora Hobby holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology with a minor in Women’s Studies (99), as well as an MA in Educational Studies (21). From 1996 on she has both shown her work and held/cleaved space for others to show their work in the community. Since the late 90s, Pandora has created ad hoc learning environments (initially at exhibitions and craft fairs) by workshopping crochet and felting, expanding into spinning, weaving, knitting, and creating recycled fibers and projects. Pandora has been working with Art Hives as a facilitator since 2012 and never looked back. Pandora’s art practice is grounded in found and recycled materials, textiles, and textures.
